Flagler Beach, Tomoka Basin and Ormond Beach

Flagler Beach and Smith Creek provides a different style of back country fishing targeting redfish, snook, trout, and flounder. This are can be fished with live baits or for the

more experienced anglers can use a wide range of artificial baits from top water to fineness jigs. best time of year is winter into late spring.

Ormond Beach has its own style of main river shallow fishing targeting multi species per trip from trout, redfish, snapper, drum, flounder, snook and many more. I love this area Late Winter into the end of Spring and Late Summer to the end of Fall.

The Tomoka River feeds into the Tomoka Basin and then the Halifax River, the Tomoka River and it’s basin offer a wide range of fishing opportunities. Here, not only are redfish and trout a possibility, but black drum, tarpon, flounder, and snook are also fish that you’ll target while fishing this area. A particularly great time in this area to target tarpon is from late spring until end of summer.

Lures Only - On the Water Learning

This is for the advanced fishermen that want to have a tournament style trip only fishing lures. While chasing redfish, snook, tarpon, trout, and flounder. You may pick up a new trick or two. The trip is also great for someone that want to expand and learn different techniques or styles like top-water, swim baits, jigs, spoons, flukes, and others. Don't forget that this trip can be great for beginners that want to get into throwing artificials.  All this in the beautiful waters of Central Florida.  While targeting Redfish, Trout, Snook, Flounder and more.

Halifax River and Ponce Inlet

Here, the Atlantic Ocean and inter-coastal waterway meet. This transition area offers not only redfish, trout, snook, flounder, summertime tarpon, but SHARK also enter into the picture. Sight casting to these hard fighting species on light tackle is a whole another ball game. They are pound-for-pound some of the hardest fighting fish you’ll find. Part of the Atlantic Inter-coastal waterway, the Halifax River is the main inshore body of water in the area.

Here you’ll fish oyster bar points, ledges, under docks and around other structure primarily for redfish and speckled sea trout. Depending on the skill level of the angler, and what the fish are wanting, we’ll use a variety of fishing techniques including artificial baits, cut bait, as well as live bait. Targeting all types of fish from shallow to "deep" well deep for the river. This is not a typical seasonal fishery as each season we are chasing different fish.
